The Man Behind the Monkey

(No Pun Intended)

Adam Friedman is a writer/artist/revolutionairy studying at SUNY Binghamton. His first published webcomic, "Bicurious George", is not so much a side-splittingly hilarious satire full of wit rivaling the likes of Oscar Wilde and Carrot Top, as it is a socio-cultural commentary on post-modern American society, very much in the vein of "The Importance of Being Earnest" and "Ernest Goes to Camp". The lack of openly homosexual role models in childrens literacture and media perpetrates the heterosexist society in which we reside. Even more troublesome is the lack of openly homosexual monkeys (no, Chris Kattan does not count). Laugh with the humorous antics of Bi-Curious George, but also remember to take to heart the deeper themes that go beyond mere banana-fellating jokes and challenge your perceptions of society, sexuality, and simians.
